Description
Burano is a beautiful island in The Venice lagoon and on a sunny day it is one of the most colorful places on earth. The houses are all painted in different bright colors and legend has it that the fishermens wives painted the houses differently so that their husbands would know which house to return to after their long fishing trips.
I went there on a very dull and rainy day, so the colors were all subdued, but I still felt it had a magical atmosphere, despite the rain.

Lovely capture Brian! From what I can see, the rain has created more colour, the houses are reflected in the wet pavement.
Brian Tarr replied:
Yes Linda, you are right, but when the sun shines, so do the houses, many thanks.
