Description
It can sometimes get a little chilly in the evenings on Pier 60 in Clearwater, especially if the wind is blowing, so the traders who have their market stalls on the pier, use these brightly coloured umbrellas to help them shelter from the wind.

Gorgeous, gorgeous image, Brian ... I've never seen this done, but I'm sure it helps with the breezes when they get a bit out of hand!!! So colorful and unusual!!! l/f
Brian Tarr replied:
Thank you Lois, I have been there about 3 times in the last 5 years and every time a breeze gets up, out come the umbrellas and there's usually a great sunset to go with it. Thanks for your great comment, very kind of you.

Nice work, Brian, on a subject that is close to home for me. As a young child, this is where my mother would take me to swim and play in the sand.
Brian Tarr replied:
Thank you Norman, I love that part of the world but only get there very occasionally on holiday.

Amazing photo Brian, I have been here many times and I see this all the time!!! Nice to see you have been to my home area!!!! Your work is outstanding!!! L/F
Brian Tarr replied:
Thank you Marvin, I have been over to this part of the world on holidays many times, I love it there and am very envious of all the people who live there permanently. I took this a few years ago and I can't wait to go back.
