Description
Last year we had a pair of mute swans on our local lake and one night someone shot one of them. They are protected birds so that is a serious crime but unfortunately no-one was ever caught for the senseless act. The remaining male swan has stayed on at the lake, but he looks a sad and lonely bird and we are all hoping he will find a new mate soon. I created this scene to try to portray his loneliness and called it Solitude.
