Description
Late evening on The Dee Estuary, the tide's gone out and left the boats high and dry on the marsh as the last rays of the setting sun break through the clouds.

What a glorious work of art, Brian!!!! I'd seen boats left in mud during low tide when we traveled up the east coast a couple of years back and it really surprised me. I'm quite used to our little Chesapeake Bay and high and low tides, but don't remember ever seeing anything like that before. Your image is SO unique!!! As always, your edits have taken a very interesting subject and created a truly magic image!!! Love the detail on the fishing boat in the foreground ... looks like it's been well loved, lol!!! l/f and tweeted
